Passive Door Lock Not Working

I went into a store left the car running and when i came back out the doors were unlocked.
Passive door lock not working. The dealer replaced the outer door lock handle had to have it painted before installation. To disable the unlocking feature with the vehicle off press and hold the lock and unlock buttons on the key fob for three seconds. They work fine on the passenger side however on the driver front and rear door they do not work. It will operate with a dead battery.
You must remove the door pad to access this. The lock button is part of the handle assembly and is not available separately. It may return to normal. The exterior passive lock unlock buttons on the doorhandles of my yukon do not work.
Why don t you try disabling passive entry via the uconnect settings lock unlock the car via the fob and then re enable it in uconnect and try again. I have change the handles but this did not fix the problem. One is the battery powered section that operates the remote door lock unlock. The other door lock buttons the remotes and the lock switch in the console all worked fine.
With passive unlocking disabled the doors will remain locked when pressing the button on the door handle. Through some investigation i have found that there is a second antenna system inside the rear passenger door. The turn signals will flash four times to indicate that passive unlocking is now disabled. There are multiple short range antennas in your gc including one around the perimeter of the spare tire well for tailgate operation.
The doors will not unlock if they do not sense the programmed matched fob. It was replaced under the cpo warranty. Eventually it stopped working altogether.
