A bit of petroleum jelly on a door hinge can take away that annoying squeak. However petroleum jelly only works for a short time. 4 squirt a drop of penetrating lubricant rated for use on refrigerators or petroleum jelly into the hinges with a needle oiler. Though it is easy to clean.
So not a good long term solution i guess. But it dries out very quickly.
